tools for a 3d FPS

if your thinking about making a FPS for online use(if you want)
these are what you need:
A FPS engine: Quake engine or Goldsrc engine(simple FPS engines but easy to get a hold of)
Optional:if your using either of those you need Quake Army Knife(QuArK) to make maps and objects

A program make characters and objects: 3d studio max is recommended due to it's compatibility with those engines mentioned and scripting capabilities.

you'll need to make your own server client in order to make it net worthy multiplayer.
both the mentioned engines are multiplayer capable

these are needed if you want t make your own multiplayer online first person shooter(and if you don't want to do much programming)

Looks very cool. You should add more information, like how to find tutorials on how to make a good FPS, and how much money it will cost to make one and server it. It looks promising, you should try out for the tech team once you get 30 posts.

im not the one for tutoring it'll be easy in some part if you have one these:
knowledge in CGI(using programs like google sketchup and 3ds max)
knowledge in video game programming(using programs like Java, basic and c)
knowledge in network programming(you'll know if you had to fit out servers)
degree in art
degree in ICT
degree in Media production

please note: if your game becomes popular and a game publisher asks for a contract with you don't take no matter what as DRM(data rights management) is a serious issue right now

Would this cost anythink or could u download free?

well that depends where your getting from and what your using
as goldsrc and quake engine are open source
plus QuArK is free and very easy to get a hold of
3ds max costs but if your using bittorrent you wont need to pay
the net client will be a challenge as i don't know where one is

Well. I can't do flash in 3D but I can draw 3D on paper but can't do it in flash. But thanks for telling us all about that 3D Engine cool idea I'd try that but I can't really do flash in 3D but draw 3D on paper.
